Forbes Magazine Ranks Pittsburgh Third in the Country's Most Affordable Cities

Recently, in Forbes magazines online Daily Real Estate News, Pittsburgh was featured as one of the most affordable cities to live, at an average monthly cost of $1187/month. This compares with other cities on the list, such as Nashville at $1256/month and Charlotte at $1336/month. The calculated monthly costs included monthly mortgage payments, real estate taxes, various insurances, utilities, fuels, mobile home costs and condominium fees.
As an agent specializing in Downtown New Construction, this reinforces to me what I hear from many of my out of town clients! Not only is Pittsburgh a healthy, growing city with great amenities, but it continues to be an affordable place to call home!
