151 First Side Grand Opening

151 First Side - Pittsburgh's first residential Downtown building in almost 40 years, celebrated its Grand Opening this week with an exclusive VIP Ribbon-Cutting on Tuesday, followed by an agent tour on Wednesday. The building features such ammenities as a concierge, 24 hour security, indoor parking and a fitness center. Residents on the fourth floor can enjoy sprawling outdoor terraces. The recently completed lobby, pictured to the left, is sure to impress! Please contact me if you would like to take a tour!

What is a Loft?

As an agent working mostly with clients looking for condominiums, I often run into those who think they are looking for a "Loft", when actually they are really seeking something with a more finished look. Because this style of living is experiencing a renaissance here in Pittsburgh, the term is sometimes used more broadly than intended. Click here for the wikipedia definition of a Loft.

Project Greenhouse!

Please click here to visit the link of my favorite client (Brian, are you reading this!). OK - all of my clients are my favorite, but I am so excited to be assisting him in this project. It promises to be a wonderful learning experience for me (it isn't often you have a client who teaches you about real-estate trends and practices) and overall it is a great project that everyone can learn from - not just me!!

Choo-Choo Chow-Chow - Howard Hanna's Annual Fundraiser for the Children's Free Care Fund

Hello All!
It is that happy time of year again! All of the Howard Hanna offices are busily planning their annual Chow-Chow luncheon and raising as much money as we can for the Children's Hospital's Free Care Fund. Today we celebrated our kick-off, and I am honoured to have been chosen as the Condominium Office Chairperson for this year's event. As part of the kickoff, the wonderful staff at Children's took us on a tour, which included a stop at the NICU. Nothing could drive home to me more the importance of this fund, which continues to ensure that no child will be turned away from the hospital because of their inability to pay. Our event will be held at the Condominium Office on South Craig Street on Wednesday, December 12th from 11am-2pm. All of our agents will be working feverishly for the next month gathering donations of food for the luncheon (as well as bringing in some legendary dishes of their own) and also gathering donations of gift certificates and baskets for our Chinese auction and some fabulous special items that will be part of our silent auction. Already agents have been coming to me with great ideas for the event, and we have already had some wonderful items donated to us by people in the office. I am hoping that this year's event will be our most successful ever! Please come back to visit for information on the luncheon, as well as information on how you may purchase tickets or become a sponsor. I hope to see all of you there!
